State Street Investment Management ("State Street IM"), formerly known as State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), is seeking a hands-on technology leader to lead our Emerging Technology and Transformation team in India. This role combines technology leadership with strong technical depth and hands-on engagement in solution architecture, design, and development.
The successful candidate will drive Operational Transformation and Innovation initiatives through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and contemporary engineering practices. This leader will play a key role in evaluating, adopting, and scaling enterprise AI platforms such as Google Gemini Enterprise and other emerging technologies while collaborating closely with global Architecture, Security, Data, and Engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams, delivering production-grade AI solutions, and enabling business transformation in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
What You Will Be Responsible For:




Architect and implement scalable AI solutions incorporating Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, orchestration platforms, prompt engineering frameworks, and agentic workflows.
Define and execute the emerging technology and AI capability roadmap, aligning investments and priorities with strategic business objectives.
Evaluate and recommend enterprise AI platforms, tools, and technologies, balancing innovation with scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Drive technology roadmaps and modernization initiatives by identifying opportunities for platform evolution, automation, and digital transformation.
Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI applications using Python, Google Gemini Enterprise, and modern AI frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, and related technologies.
