Job Summary:
The Entry Software Engineer is responsible for assisting in the design and development of processes for manufacturing chemicals and related products. This role involves working under the guidance of experienced engineers, conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to the optimization of production processes.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Using approved tools and processes, create Infrastructure as Code scripts to deploy environments in AWS that can be reused by peer team members and teams.
Using standard tools and processes,



create and utilize pipelines to deploy software applications across multiple environments including lower level, QA, staging and production environments.
Following team standards, provide guidance to peer teams on best practices to deploy infrastructure and applications using IaC and pipelines.
Work closely with security operations to maintain proper security posture for supported environments and applications including the implementation of automated security testing.
Setup, configure and maintain high availability (HA) and elasticity requirements in the public cloud when required by applications.
Implement monitoring and logging standards for infrastructure and applications.

Setup, configure and maintain disaster recovery requirements including scheduled DR drills.
Participate in an on-call rotation for the Global DevOps team.
