This requires a broad range of skills including financial modeling, risk management, understanding of US/Canadian GAAP, financing, audit, investor relations, and more.

We are small but growing rapid which means you will get the chance to specialize and grow into future roles.

Lastly, as you might expect of a finance company, we work really hard when we need to, but we don’t work hard just for the sake of it. We don’t miss our kids’ concerts, we work out during the day and we usually sign off early on Fridays.

About the position

As a Senior Accountant, you will take on expanded ownership of a portfolio of eCommerce clients, leading month-end close, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and serving as the primary accounting contact for your assigned clients.



You will work with greater independence, mentor junior team members, and be expected to flag risks, identify process improvements, and deliver high-quality financial insights to stakeholders

You will be working across a wide range of tech and software platforms including NetSuite, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Hubdoc, Dext, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Glew.io , Rippling, Gusto, Bill.com, and more.

What you will do

Time Zone: You will need to work 10am - 5pm PST, with some flexibility for client needs.

Month-End Close

Close client books two to ten business days after month end, accurately and efficiently.

Maintain proper working papers for fixed assets, loans, prepaids, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.

Post accruals for missing but expected expenses, using professional judgment where full information is unavailable.
