About the Role:
We are seeking a Freelance/ Independent Contractor that is an experienced Accountant with a strong background in U.S.A. GAAP accounting principles and hands-on experience using Workday Financials and or Odoo Financials. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and compliance activities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain an accounting workflow map for an ERP system like Odoo community and Workday
Have a deep understanding of ERP systems, GAAP accounting principles, and workflow business maps
Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements in accordance with U.S.A. GAAP.
Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Utilize a Workday like software for financial transactions, reporting, and process automation.
Assist with audits, ensuring documentation and internal controls meet compliance standards.




Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial data flow.
Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Experience with building and testing new software features

Qualifications:
Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience with demonstrated knowledge of U.S.A. GAAP.
Robust analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment.
