Senior Architect – Design & Construction (Luxury Villas)

Role Overview
Alankaram is establishing a new division focused on the end-to-end design and construction of bespoke luxury villas. We are looking for an experienced architect who can lead projects from the initial client brief and concept stage through detailed design, construction supervision and final handover
The role requires a strong balance of design sensitivity, technical detailing, project coordination and practical site-execution experience

Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle, budget and design expectations.
- Conduct site studies covering context, orientation, climate, topography, access and development constraints.
- Develop architectural concepts, master plans, space plans, elevations, façades and material palettes.




- Prepare client presentations, mood boards, design narratives and 3D visualisations.
- Produce accurate working drawings, GFC drawings, specifications, schedules and construction details.
- Coordinate structural, MEP, landscape, lighting, interiors, home automation and sustainability consultants.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, local development rules, NBC requirements and approval conditions.
- Assist with BOQs, tender documents, contractor evaluation and scope comparisons.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, samples, mock-ups and contractor proposals.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure that execution matches the approved design, specifications and quality standards.
- Resolve site issues, RFIs and design conflicts promptly to prevent delays and rework.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, design changes and construction quality.
- Carry out snagging, quality inspections
