Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sunroof System Design Engineer with proven experience in the design and development of sunroof systems for passenger vehicles. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of sunroof mechanisms, homologation standards, and manufacturing processes, and be capable of driving engineering activities from concept to production.
Experience Required: 6 to 8 Years
Education: B. E. in Mech/ Automotive / Production
Joining: Early joiners preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of sunroof systems including mechanical, sealing, and actuation components. Ensure compliance with global homologation and safety regulations. Collaborate with styling, body engineering, and manufacturing teams for system integration. Create and validate CAD models, drawings, and BOMs. Conduct design reviews, DFMEA, and support prototype development and testing.



Core Knowledge Required
: Manual and motorized actuation system s Guide rails, drive cables, and motor integratio n Glass panel design and sealing system s Drainage and water management system s Anti-pinch and safety feature s Familiarity with NVH, thermal, and durability aspects of sunroof system s Experience in homologation and regulatory compliance for sunroof system s Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, and assembl y Required Skills & Experience
:6–8 years of experience in automotive sunroof system design . Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5 preferred) . Solid understanding of vehicle integration and packaging constraints . Good communication and documentation skills .
