Role Description The Consultant Cardiologist will provide specialized cardiac care, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and participation in cardiac intensive care and emergency services. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions,



interpreting diagnostic investigations (such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and cardiac imaging), and planning appropriate medical or interventional management. The role involves collaborating with cardiac surgeons, critical care teams, and other specialists to deliver multidisciplinary care, as well as contributing to clinical protocols, quality improvement, and patient education. The Consultant Cardiologist will also participate in on-call duties, case discussions, and departmental meetings, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and hospital policies. This is a full time, on-site role based at Alpha Hospital in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
Advanced cardiology training: MD/DNB in Internal Medicine with DM/DNB in Cardiology or equivalent recognized qualification.
