Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – PPC to oversee production planning, scheduling, and control functions within a precision machining setting. The role requires strong coordination across departments, a data-driven approach to planning, and the ability to ensure on-time delivery while optimizing resources.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to ensure optimal machine utilization
Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer delivery timelines
Manage customer communication regarding order status, timelines, and commitments
Lead raw material planning and coordinate closely with procurement and suppliers
Monitor inventory levels, including raw materials, WIP (Work in Progress), and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels
Track production progress and proactively implement corrective actions to meet targets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Purchase, and Quality to ensure seamless operations
Utilize ERP/SAP systems for production planning,



tracking, and reporting
Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel
Lead, guide, and develop the PPC team to drive efficiency and accountability

Requirements

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in production planning, scheduling, and machine loading
Solid understanding of inventory management, safety stock, and WIP control
Proven experience in customer coordination and supplier management
Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems for planning and reporting
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities
Effective communication and team leadership skills

Preferred Background

Experience in precision machining or manufacturing environments is highly preferred
Prior experience in a similar leadership role within PPC
Aerospace Component Manufacturing
