The Manager - Logistics Operations is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing end-to-end logistics and warehouse operations to ensure timely material movement, inventory accuracy, cost control, and compliance with customs and trade regulations. The role works closely with planning, production, procurement, freight forwarders, and customs agents to support seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Planning & Warehouse Management
Strategically plan and manage day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations.
Ensure effective material storage, handling, and dispatch activities.
Monitor warehouse performance and implement process improvements.
Inventory Control
Manage inventory accuracy through cycle count programs and periodic audits.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production and customer requirements.
Order Optimization & Plant Coordination
Coordinate with Planning and Production teams to ensure timely material availability and dispatch.
Support achievement of plant turnaround time (TT) targets.
Monitor order fulfillment performance and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Procurement, Production, Planning, Finance, Quality, and Customer Service teams.
Lead resolution of logistics and supply chain-related issues through effective stakeholder management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics functions.
Logistics Performance Monitoring
Prepare and analyze logistics performance data related to TT1, TT2, TT3, and TT4 metrics.
Generate invoices and monitor process performance against KPIs.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for service failures and implement corrective action plans.
Logistics Cost Management
Monitor and control transportation, freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and related logistics costs.
