Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Node.js Software Engineer with QA Automation expertise and 7+ years of experience in software development, automated testing, and quality engineering. The role will support Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking applications through backend development, API and microservices integration, test automation, and production support.The position will contribute to business objectives by delivering scalable and secure applications, improving automated test coverage, validating transaction processing capabilities, and supporting reliable application modernization and migration initiatives.

Required

Software Requirements

Minimum 7+ years of experience in software engineering, Node.js development, QA automation, or related technology roles.
Solid hands-on experience with Node.js using a current and supported version.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and reusable automation components.




Experience performing functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
Experience automating API and UI testing activities.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and quality engineering practices.
Experience with source control, code reviews, defect tracking, test reporting, and release processes.
Ability to write clean, scalable, reusable, maintainable, and testable code.
Experience supporting application enhancement, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production activities.
Understanding of application performance, scalability, security, and reliability considerations.

Preferred

Experience with Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking applications.
Experience with Integrated Global Transaction Banking (IGTB) products.
Experience working on migration programs, including application modernization, system migration, data validation, and regression testing.
