Senior Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Online

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and bookkeeping.

Key Requirement:
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is mandatory
Previous skilled bookkeeping experience is mandatory
Candidates without practical QBO experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting records
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries
Maintain accurate general ledger records
Assist with month-end closing
Prepare financial reports and account schedules
Review transactions and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books in QuickBooks Online
Perform other accounting and bookkeeping duties as required





Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
Professional bookkeeping/accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience with bank reconciliations, AP, AR and general ledger
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:
Experience working with international clients/companies
Experience in transportation/logistics or similar industries
Experience with payroll, GST/HST or other tax-related bookkeeping tasks
