Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
7+ years of hands-on experience as an Application Developer or in similar software engineering roles
Advanced skills in Python; solid SQL and cloud-native development experience (AWS)
Proven expertise architecting scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
OR experience working with extensive data pipelines
Advanced proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
Skilled with Docker and AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, ECR, ECS, AWS Batch)
Experience building, integrating, and maintaining REST APIs and data workflows, including working with JSON
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to independently onboard/train new engineers and contribute to knowledge bases
Strong background in code reviews, monitoring system performance/stability, and proactively refining solutions
Self-motivation and reliability in remote work settings, including effective time management with distributed teams
