Description
We are looking for an experienced Ruby Automation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and Ruby programming, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing automated test scripts using Ruby
- Collaborating with development teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline
- Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs and issues during the testing process
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
- Maintaining and updating existing test automation frameworks
- Participating in requirement analysis and design discussions to ensure testability of features
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in software development or automation testing
- Proficiency in Ruby programming language
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as RSpec, Capybara, or Selenium
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace
