We are seeking a motivated Trainee/Assistant Engineer to join our team specializing in device driver development. The ideal candidate will assist in creating and maintaining drivers for various hardware components, ensuring seamless integration with operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and testing of device drivers for various hardware components.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve driver-related issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the documentation of driver specifications.
- Support integration of device drivers into the operating system environment.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of existing drivers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in device driver development or related areas.
- Solid programming skills in C and C++.
- Familiarity with operating system concepts and kernel architecture.
- Knowledge of hardware interfaces such as USB, PCIe, or I2C.
- Experience with debugging tools and methodologies for device drivers.
- Basic understanding of computer architecture and system programming.
