As a Manager - GL Accounting , you will be an integral part of the finance team , reporting to the Head of Shared Services . You will be responsible for managing financial controls, compliance, audits, and reporting while ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Compliance
- Oversee financial controls, cost management, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals to finalize financial statements.
- Ensure timely preparation, filing, and reconciliation of TDS returns .
- Assist in internal and external audits to maintain compliance and transparency.
- Monitor internal controls to safeguard against fraud and financial discrepancies.
Accounting & Reporting
- Streamline accounting functions and operations to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports in the required format.
- Coordinate with internal teams on finance-related matters.
- Support budgeting processes and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and prescribed accounting procedures .
- Handle additional assignments as per the reporting manager's requirements .
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional qualification in finance or accounting.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in controllership, financial management, and compliance .
- Strong communication and email skills .
- Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools .
- Experience working in an ERP environment (preferably MS Navision or SAP ) with month-end closures.
