Responsibility 1: Management Functions 1. Set the long-term strategy, direction, systems, policies and procedures for the global shipping, logistics and export function, aligned to Ahmad Tea's international growth objectives. Provide senior leadership to the logistics management team, building capability, succession and a high performance culture across shipping, exports and imports. Own the global carrier, shipping-line and freight-forwarder strategy – leading annual tenders and long-term contract negotiations to secure competitive rates, guaranteed capacity and service levels for tea exports. Design and continuously optimize the international distribution network (seaports, airports, transhipment hubs and routings) to protect on-time delivery to key tea markets and reduce total landed cost. Define, track and report departmental KPIs (on-time delivery, freight cost per container/kg, demurrage, container utilization, service levels) to senior leadership. Lead supply-chain risk management and business continuity planning – mitigating exposure to freight-rate volatility,



port congestion, geopolitical disruption and seasonal tea-harvest demand peaks. 2. Engaging, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. 3. Planning and coordinating all operations activities in all aspects of shipping and logistics services for timely delivery and economically. 4. Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues. 5. Arrange regular/periodical meetings with staff as appropriate to review overall team/individual performances. 6. Ensuring continuous review and improvements of operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. 7.
