Qualified Chartered Accountant Post qualification experience in Direct Tax of at least 1-5 years Experience in handling of taxation for expatriates would be added advantage Willingness to travel Skill Set: Experience in undertaking Income tax, Company Law and Regulatory compliances. The candidate should have positive understanding of the Income Tax Law and other Acts such as Companies Act and FEMA. Good communication skills Deadline-Oriented, analytical. Possess sound business knowledge.
Direct Tax Advisory – Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle Direct Tax Advisory services (Domestic & International), including representation and litigation support for income tax assessments and appeals
- Draft submissions for assessments/appeals and respond to income tax department notices
- Address complex tax issues including BEPS, GAAR, indirect transfers, etc.
- Provide holistic tax solutions combining domestic and international tax considerations
- Conduct proactive tax risk analysis for client transactions
- Suggest structuring options aligned with client objectives




- Manage tax compliances for a portfolio of clients
- Provide assistance in withholding tax advisory
- Prepare key corporate tax returns and tax positions
- Maintain data controls and conduct periodic hygiene checks on research papers
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding requirements and delivering to expectations
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of client operations to identify tax planning opportunities and compliance gaps
- Collaborate with the team to research and analyze all aspects of an assignment to deliver optimal solutions
- Uphold legal and regulatory standards while maintaining independence and objectivity
- Draft and prepare proposals and pitch presentations
- Assist seniors in business development through strategic pitch preparation
- Identify business leads from both external sources and existing clients
