Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain STB software components using C/C++ on embedded Linux.
Build and troubleshoot multimedia workflows using GStreamer for audio/video playback.
Implement and validate DVB features including DVB-C/DVB-S/DVB-T, EPG, and SI/PSI table handling.
Debug issues end-to-end using GDB and Linux utilities; analyze logs and runtime behavior.
Work with streaming and networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, RTSP, and multicast.
Skills Required:
5 - 10 years of relevant embedded software experience
C/C++ (robust hands-on development)
Embedded Linux development
GStreamer (multimedia frameworks/pipelines)
STB (Set-Top Box) development
Good to Have:
RDKB
Audio/Video streaming and playback experience
OTT/streaming platforms exposure
DVB-related enhancements and broadcast feature depth
Education: B.E., B.Tech, B.Tech M.Tech (Dual), BCA, M.Tech, M.E., M.Sc., MCA (preferred Electrical/Electronics/Telecom or related branches)
