About Us
MishiPay is an international, leading checkout technology company that empowers shoppers to checkout in-store using either self-checkout via their own smartphones, or using MishiPay's industry leading, minimalist, low cap-ex kiosks. We are creating an enjoyable and convenient in-store shopping experience for leading retailers globally.
MishiPay now also runs Mobile POS, Click and Collect and Cash registers, so that merchants, who initially start with our self-checkout, can eventually run their whole store checkout process on MishiPay. With our technology, retailers have proven reductions in cost, due to requiring fewer cashiers, a marked increase in sales due to improved basket sizes, higher frequency of shopper visits and reduction in abandoned baskets, and in addition, all our retailers can access rich and priceless data about their customers.
This enables a much better understanding of the customer journey in their bricks and mortar stores.
About The Role
We are growing rapidly and we're now looking for a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead a critical engineering team from our tech hub in Bangalore. This team is at the heart of our business, responsible for both our core product engineering and the strategic customization and integration of our platform for major global clients.
This is a technical leadership role where you will split your time between managing the team and contributing as a senior developer. We expect you to spend roughly 30-40% of your time on hands-on coding, technical design, and solving complex client integration challenges.
We'd like to speak to you if you have solid Python and Django skills, you've been a Founding or early stage member of a startup and you are happy to code and lead. These requirements are essential.
