Role Summary
The Cloud Engineering, Senior Specialist role provides senior expert level technical support for the most critical and complex projects. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves hardware or software issues for recent and existing technologies and tools. The role also includes technical leadership, vendor evaluation, issue resolution, and mentoring junior staff,
while contributing to automation and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manages, plans, and implements new enterprise-wide technologies and major releases for the most critical and complex enterprise-wide IT cloud platform projects. Designs, implements, and deploys cloud computing systems to support and meet the most complex and critical business needs. Anticipates current and future needs of the organization to make recommendations for improvement and performance issue solutions.
Provides expert-level technical support and ensures reliable operation of cloud production across all systems. Diagnoses and troubleshoots the most complex issues for cloud computing systems on multiple platforms. Maintains expert technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
