We’re Hiring – Business Development / Industrial Sales Engineer
FR Rubber, Chennai, is looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development / Industrial Sales Engineer to help us expand our customer base across automotive, industrial and engineering sectors.
? What you’ll do
* Identify and approach new industrial and automotive companies
* Generate new business leads and RFQs
* Connect with Purchase, Procurement, Vendor Development and Engineering teams
* Develop current customer relationships through calls, emails, LinkedIn and meetings
* Visit customers when required and understand their requirements
* Coordinate vendor registration with new companies
* Collect drawings, samples and technical requirements
* Coordinate with our internal team for quotations and product development
* Follow up on quotations, samples, trials and purchase orders
* Maintain a sales pipeline and regular follow-up reports
* Develop long-term B2B customer relationships
Who we’re looking for
* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech preferred
* Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Industrial Engineering preferred
* 2–5 years of B2B / industrial sales experience preferred
* Experience in rubber, auto components, engineering, plastic, seals, gaskets or related industries will be an advantage
* Good communication and negotiation skills
* Strong customer follow-up and lead-generation ability
* Comfortable with cold calling and customer visits
* Basic knowledge of Excel, email and LinkedIn
* Willingness to learn technical aspects of rubber products and manufacturing
* Tamil + English communication preferred
Work Model - Hybrid
The candidate can work remotely for lead generation, calls, emails and follow-ups, with customer visits whenever required and visits to the FR Rubber facility for training, technical discussions and internal coordination.
