About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Social Media Manager to support the planning, execution, and management of digital communication for Government Ministries, Departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and other public sector organizations. The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing government social media accounts, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, executing high-impact campaigns, and ensuring timely delivery of communication aligned with government objectives and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day social media operations for the assigned Government Ministry, Department, or PSU.
Manage end-to-end operations of official social media handles across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant digital channels.
Develop content calendars aligned with government campaigns, awareness initiatives, national events, and policy communication.
Coordinate with internal creative, content,



video, and design teams to ensure timely execution of campaign deliverables.
Liaise with client representatives and government officials to obtain approvals, incorporate feedback, and ensure smooth campaign execution.
Monitor ongoing campaigns, public sentiment, audience engagement, and platform performance to recommend improvements.
Support strategic planning for government campaigns, digital initiatives, and new project pitches.
Stay updated on government policies, public sector communication trends, social media best practices, and platform updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Communications, or Digital Marketing.
Prior experience managing Government Ministries, Departments, PSUs, or other Government sector clients.
Hands-on experience managing multiple social media platforms and digital campaigns.
