Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead – BESS to lead and manage electrical engineering activities for renewable energy projects, with solid expertise in Power Evacuation Systems, BESS, Solar and Wind projects.
The candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, managing engineering teams, supporting EPC execution, contributing to tender and bidding activities, and coordinating with clients and external engineering partners to ensure timely and technically compliant project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Engineering & Power Evacuation
Lead the electrical engineering activities for BESS, Solar and Wind projects.
Provide strong technical expertise in power evacuation systems, including:
Switchyard / Substation
GSS upgradation
Transmission lines
Grid interconnection
Communication systems
AC/DC electrical systems
Protection and control systems
Auxiliary electrical systems
Review and validate electrical designs, drawings, calculations and technical specifications.




Ensure engineering solutions comply with applicable technical standards, grid codes and project requirements.

2. Engineering Team Leadership
Lead and manage the engineering function and provide technical direction to the engineering team.
Coordinate with outsourced/OE (Owner’s Engineer) teams for engineering inputs, reviews and technical deliverables.
Guide engineers in resolving technical issues and ensure quality and timely completion of engineering deliverables.
Establish engineering standards, processes and best practices across projects.

3. Tendering & Business Development Support
Provide technical inputs for tenders, RFQs, bids and future project opportunities.
Review tender specifications, scope of work, technical requirements and BOQs.
Support estimation and costing teams with technical inputs related to electrical systems and power evacuation.
