Job description:

Performance Test Senior Engineer
1. JMeter Hands On (35% - Primary Focus)
- 5+ years of hands-on JMeter experience
- Deep expertise in end-to-end JMeter implementation:
- Experience with JMeter in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in JMeter scripting and custom development
- Performance benchmarking and baseline establishment
2. Performance Engineering & RCA (30% - Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of performance engineering principles and methodologies
- Expert-level capability in analyzing and interpreting:
- Heap Dumps – memory profiling, garbage collection analysis, memory leaks identification
- Thread Dumps – thread state analysis, deadlock detection, thread contention issues
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology and execution
3. Observability (Dynatrace Preferred) (15% - Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with APM tools; Dynatrace preferred
- Dashboard creation and metric visualization
- Root cause correlation across systems
- Integration with JMeter for correlated performance testing

Coding/Scripting Languages (15% - Mandatory)
- Java – custom JMeter samplers, plugins, and framework development
- Groovy – JMeter JSR223 sampler scripting and assertions
5. AI/Automation/Advanced Analytics Exposure (5% - Non-Mandatory, Valuable To Have)
- Familiarity with AI/ML models for anomaly detection in performance data
- Test automation frameworks (Selenium, REST Assured)
- Advanced data analytics and statistical analysis

Requirement Analysis and Documentation-Create technical requirement documents basis the inputs received from clients through discussions and demos.
Creation of test cases-Create test cases basis the functional requirements ensuring test coverage across multiple modules.
Test Data and Environment Setup-Create data validation scenarios and set up test environment in collaboration with the client stakeholder.
