About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to support our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, vendor coordination, order processing, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Identify and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for quotations, availability, and pricing.
Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain proper documentation.
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with stores, accounts, production, and other departments for purchase requirements.
Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requirements as needed.
Maintain and update vendor records,
price lists, and purchase-related reports.
Verify invoices, delivery documents, and purchase orders for accuracy.
Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential vendors.
Support management in cost-saving and vendor development initiatives.
Ensure purchases are made as per company policies and approved requirements.
Requirements
Graduate in any discipline; a degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
1–2 years of experience in purchase/procurement.
Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple purchase requirements.
Knowledge of ERP/purchase software will be an added advantage.
