Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (BE) Function : Production -Section In charge (Induction Hardening/ Hobbing/ Flexplate) Reporting to : Head Operations Background Experience / Qualification / Knowledge / Skills 13 to 15 years of experience with BE in mechanical engineering with following skills: Induction Hardening & manage production activities. Training and skill development of the operators Knowledge of CQI-9, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, QMS systems, 5S, etc. Production Planning & Controlling Knowledge of QMS, IATF16949, EMS & OHSAS & Safety. SAP-S/4-HANA. Visual aids Management system Soft skills (MS office), Presentation Skills-PPTs, Word, Google sheets, etc. Have sense of Time management Be biased in decision making. Leadership quality Good Communications Skills Positive Leadership Qualities Job Purpose To utilize production /engineering skills that can contribute to the company's growth as well as to enhance knowledge of team by exploring new things Principal Accountabilities Plant and Control section production as per plan and deputing workforce for optimum utilization.



Handling and Knowledge of Induction hardening, Tempering, MPI testing, Hardness Testing, Microstructure Testing, CNC turning & production lines while adhering to all quality management systems. Rework / Rejection generation analysis and suggestions for the improvement in the same. Conduct product/process audit as per QMS requirements. Ensure quality system adhered (TPM, TQM, 5S) through training. Focus on daily production target and dispatch as per schedules. Conduct on the job training for the workers for their skills development. Plan and execute the line changeovers by coordinating with the tool store to reduce overall setup time. Mitigation of unsafe conditions. Ensure safety while staffing and managing the lines. Ensure timely completion of all data monitoring systems.
