We are looking for a motivated Mobile Automation Tester with 1+ years of experience in mobile application testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automating Android and/or iOS applications using Appium or similar automation tools, along with a positive understanding of software testing principles and Agile methodologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Android and iOS mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Zoho.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage.
Execute API testing using tools like Postman (preferred).
Validate application performance across different devices and OS versions.
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills
1+ years of experience in Mobile Automation Testing.
Hands-on experience with Appium or Katalon Studio.
Knowledge of Java (preferred) or any object-oriented programming language.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver is an added advantage.
Familiarity with TestNG or JUnit.
Experience with Maven or Gradle.
Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework design.
Experience in Android application testing; iOS testing knowledge is an advantage.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
