RF Network Planning & Deployment Engineer

About the Role
We are hiring an RF Network Planning & Deployment Engineer to lead RF design, site surveys, and deploymentof 4G/5G small cell and private 5G networks across smart city, industrial, and government use cases.
This role combines planning + field execution, ensuring strong RF performance in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities
Plan RF coverage & capacity for LTE / 5G (Sub-6 GHz) networks
Perform link budget, propagation modelling, and interference analysis
Design small cell deployments (indoor/outdoor)
Conduct site surveys, installation, and commissioning
Execute drive tests / walk tests and optimize network performance
Analyse KPIs (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput) and improve coverage
Prepare RF design, deployment, and optimisation reports
Collaborate with customers, government agencies, and internal teams





Required Skills
Experience in RF planning & deployment (LTE/5G)
Proficiency in tools like Atoll / Asset / Planet
Strong knowledge of 3GPP technologies (LTE, NR, NB-IoT)
Hands-on with drive test tools (TEMS, NEMO)
Expertise in link budget & propagation models (COST-231, ITU-R)
Good understanding of antenna systems (MIMO, beamforming)

Valuable to Have
Experience in private 5G / enterprise networks
Knowledge of backhaul (microwave, fibre, mmWave)
Exposure to network synchronization (PTP, GPS)
Familiarity with O-RAN architecture
Basic scripting (Python / MATLAB)
