Job Title: Principal Analyst, ATR
Location: Bengaluru
Reporting to: Manager, ATR

Purpose of the role
The Fixed Assets & Leases Senior Analyst is responsible for end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting activities within the Account-to-Report (ATR) tower. The role ensures accurate capitalization, depreciation, lease accounting, reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls (SOX/MICS), while partnering with business, CapEx owners, and auditors in a global shared services workplace.

Key tasks & accountabilities
Fixed Assets Accounting & Close
Perform end-to-end Fixed Assets accounting including asset creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, impairments, and write-offs
Execute month-end close (MEC)



activities for Fixed Assets in line with close calendars
Ensure accurate depreciation runs and analyze variances
Validate capitalization in line with accounting policies and thresholds

Lease Accounting (IFRS 16 / ASC 842)
Perform lease accounting activities including lease setup, ROU asset and lease liability accounting
Post monthly lease-related entries (depreciation, interest, remeasurements)
Support lease modifications, term reassessments, and data validation
Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 / ASC 842 requirements

Reconciliations & Controls
Perform FA and lease sub-ledger to GL reconciliations
Investigate and clear reconciling items within defined SLAs
Ensure adherence to SOX/MICS controls with complete audit documentation
Support balance sheet reviews and risk assessments

CapEx, CWIP & Governance
Monitor CWIP balances and ensure timely capitalization
Partner with Projects and Procu
