Job Title: Fabric Manager – Garment Manufacturing
Location: Tirupur, Tamil Nadu
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹60,000/month
Experience: 8–16 years

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Fabric Manager to manage fabric sourcing, development, procurement and follow-up for our garment manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage fabric sourcing and development according to buyer requirements.
Coordinate with knitting, dyeing, processing and fabric suppliers.
Handle fabric costing and consumption requirements.
Follow up on lab dips, strike-offs and fabric approvals.
Monitor fabric quality, GSM, shade, shrinkage and other parameters.
Ensure timely availability of fabric for production.




Coordinate fabric inspections and resolve quality issues.
Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms.
Plan fabric requirements based on production schedules.
Ensure fabric is delivered within required timelines.

Qualification:
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Apparel or related field.
8–16 years of experience in fabric sourcing/follow-up.
Robust knowledge of knitted fabrics, dyeing and finishing processes.
Good understanding of GSM, yarn counts, shrinkage, shade and fabric testing.
