Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain our internal billing workflow platform's VB.NET
WinForms desktop application — a critical service in our monthly billing
workflow system processing all our monthly client billings before getting
invoiced. This is a primary day-to-day responsibility.

* Work directly with SQL Server: write and optimize T-SQL, stored procedures,
and SQL Server Agent jobs

* Contribute to the development of new features, system enhancements, and
performance optimization initiatives as part of the platform's ongoing
in-place modernization effort

* Contribute to execution of the platform's future migration to a modern
web-based architecture,



helping implement target architecture (e.g., ASP.NET
Core/Blazor) under the guidance of senior engineers and BI leadership.

* Write and maintain automated tests; grow test coverage from its current thin
baseline.

* Participate in code reviews and follow the team's established coding
standards, style guide, and code-audit protocol

* Collaborate with BI, Analyst, Processing, and Submission team stakeholders to
translate billing workflow requirements into robust technical solutions

* Assist with technical design discussions for both the current system and its
future state, under the guidance of senior engineers

* Leverage Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to improve
productivity and code quality.

Qualifications

* Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or equivalent).

* 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience

* Hands-on experience with VB.NET & .NE
