About the Role
We are looking for an experienced VB.NET Developer with hands-on Cincom Socrates experience to support an ongoing application development and maintenance project.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience developing and maintaining VB.NET desktop applications and practical knowledge of the Cincom Socrates platform, rule/knowledge management, GUI development, XML/XPath, and application integration.
⚠️ Cincom Socrates experience is mandatory.
Candidates without hands-on Cincom Socrates experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance VB.NET desktop applications.
Work extensively with Cincom Socrates for rule and knowledge management.
Develop and maintain custom GUI controls and user interfaces.
Build and support multi-threaded applications.
Implement image display, editing, processing, and saving functionality.
Work with XML and XPath for application data processing.
Integrate applications with SAP and EDI systems where required.
Support ClickOnce deployment and HTTP-based file downloads.
Troubleshoot existing applications and resolve technical issues.
Perform application enhancements based on business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure application stability and maintainability.
