Job Overview - This role sits within up Grad's internal compliance function, responsible for tracking regulatory developments, monitoring adherence to applicable laws, and proactively flagging risk areas before they surface as issues.
A core part of the mandate is staying closely attuned to the regulatory framework governing online education in India, and ensuring up Grad's internal processes remain aligned with applicable requirements at all times. The role also extends to supporting compliance monitoring across other functions as the scope of the compliance charter grows.
Key Responsibilities -
Continuously track developments in higher education law and regulations, and assess their implications for up Grad.
Independently initiate and conduct periodic internal audits across program offerings, identifying and flagging any gaps or risk signals for timely resolution.
Build and maintain internal trackers, dashboards, and a documentation repository to monitor the ongoing compliance posture of programs.
Prepare periodic compliance MIS / risk assessment reports for leadership review.
Translate regulatory updates into clear, actionable internal advisories / briefs for relevant teams.
Design and maintain SOPs and compliance
