Manager – Human Resources (Steel Manufacturing Industry) Location: Kolkata
Experience: 12–15 Years
Prior experience in the steel manufacturing industry is mandatory.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to head the Human Resources function. The role is responsible for developing and driving enterprise-wide HR strategies, policies, and people initiatives across multiple manufacturing plants.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. Prior experience in handling multiple locations will be preferred.
HR Strategy & Business Partnership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and long-term growth plans.
Lead HR initiatives that enhance productivity, employee engagement, organizational capability, and culture.
HR Policy Development & Governance
Design, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks across all manufacturing units.
Standardize HR processes and ensure consistent implementation across locations.
Ensure compliance with labour laws,
statutory regulations, and organizational policies.
HR Governance & Plant HR Oversight
Provide strategic direction and functional leadership to Plant HR Managers across all manufacturing locations.
Establish HR standards, monitor policy implementation, and ensure consistency in HR practices across plants.
Review workforce metrics, employee engagement, and HR performance across locations and drive corrective actions where required.
Collaborate with Plant HR teams to address workforce challenges while maintaining alignment with corporate HR strategy.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Lead the organization's recruitment strategy for corporate and plant-level hiring requirements.
Partner with business and Plant HR teams to identify manpower needs and ensure timely hiring of critical talent.
Develop talent pipelines and strengthen employer branding initiatives.
