Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate South Indian Chef with 3 years of experience in preparing authentic South Indian cuisine. The candidate should have expertise in breakfast items, traditional dishes, food preparation, quality control, and kitchen hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Pongal, Upma, Uttapam, and regional specialties.
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all food items.
Prepare chutneys, sambar, curries, and other accompaniments as per standard recipes.
Maintain food quality and portion control standards.
Monitor inventory and assist in ordering kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items to maintain freshness.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and cooking areas.




Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
Minimize food wastage and optimize ingredient utilization.
Assist in menu planning and introducing new South Indian dishes.
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high food standards.
Required Skills
Solid knowledge of South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
Expertise in preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner South Indian menus.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good time management and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a South Indian Chef.
Hotel Management or Culinary certification preferred.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, or cloud kitchens is an advantage.
