Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to lead the requirements
gathering and analysis phase of a large-scale Application Modernization project.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing legacy codebases to extract
business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to design modernized
solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed analysis of legacy application to identify business rules,
workflows, and requirements.
* Collaborate with technical teams to understand the architecture and
functionality of existing systems.
* Translate findings from code analysis into clear and actionable business
requirements.
* Work closely with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment
with business objectives.
* Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather additional requirements and
clarify ambiguities.
* Develop comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications,
process flows, and use cases.
* Partner with development teams to ensure requirements are accurately
implemented in the modernized application.
* Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies related to the modernization
effort.
* Provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders on progress
and findings.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large-scale Application
Modernization projects.
* Strong expertise in analyzing legacy applications.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio for documentation
and collaboration.
* Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with reverse engineering tools and techniques.
* Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and modern application architectures.
