Eligibility Criteria of Namrup College of Teacher Education Recruitment

As per National Council For Teacher Education ( NCTE) norms-
Assistant Professor in Social Science:

(i) Post Graduate degree in Social Science with 55% marks and MEd with 55% marks.

(ii) MEd degree with 55% marks or MA in Education or BEd / BElEd with 55% marks in each
Principal:

(i) Post graduate degree in Science / Social Science / Arts / Humanities / Commerce with 55% marks,



MEd with 55% marks or MA (Education) and BEd with 55% marks.

(ii) A PhD in Education or any pedagogic subject offered in the institution.

(iii) Eight years of teaching experience in a Secondary Teacher Education Institution after eligibility.
