Job Purpose The Journals Indexing Specialist is a global role responsible for maintaining end to end processes associated with journals indexing at Sage. The job holder will develop and maintain processes to enhance the visibility of Sage journals by preparing robust indexing applications to indexing partners. The Journals Indexing Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with editorial, research integrity and production to ensure journals are maintaining quality standards expected by indexers and monitor the evolving requirements of external indexing services. Using data driven insights, the Journals Indexing specialist will work with the Associate Director, Research Integrity to drive the indexing strategy at Sage; monitor journals at risk of quality concerns as well as ensure successful applications to indexing services.
