ROLE SUMMARY

Assistant Manager – S&OP; is responsible for supporting and executing the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning cycle, ensuring effective alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans. The role acts as a central coordinator across cross-functional teams to deliver an optimized, feasible,



and data-driven business plan that supports operational efficiency and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional Responsibilities
- Execute and manage the end-to-end S&OP; cycle adhering to the defined timelines
- Coordinate with Sales, SCM, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance teams for plan alignment
- Consolidate and validate demand forecasts (unconstrained demand) from multiple sources
- Drive demand vs supply balancing (handshake process) and highlight gaps
- Identify and manage capacity constraints, supply risks, and mitigation actions
- Ensure adherence to flex norms, service levels, and inventory targets
- Support MRP execution and production planning readiness
- Track and improve key KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), Inventory & DOH, Capacity Utilization
- Conduct scenario planning and what-if analysis for demand fluctuations and supply constraints
- Prepare and present S&OP
