Location: Bengaluru - South Region (Karnataka, Kerala & Tamilnadu).

Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering (MBA preferred but not mandatory)

Role Overview:

The Area Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading the Sales Engineer team within an assigned territory.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic account ownership, high-value chance management, and team coaching. The Area Manager is expected to be deeply involved in customer discussions, technical evaluations, negotiations, and closures, while also building a strong, disciplined sales team.

This is not a desk-based role—it requires regular customer visits, market presence, and ownership of business outcomes.

Product Portfolio:

The Area Manager will lead sales for a premium portfolio of global process-equipment brands including:

AGI (Japan), DIEHM (Germany), LAUDA (Germany), GENSER (Germany), VTA (Germany), VACUUBRAND (Germany), PREMEX (Switzerland) Covering temperature control systems, vacuum systems,



jacketed glass reactors, distillation system, thin fil distillation, rotary evaporators, high pressure reactors and lab & pilot-plant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:1. Territory & Revenue Ownership
- Own sales targets and revenue performance for the assigned territory
- Develop and execute a territory business plan covering:

o Focus industries

o Key accounts

o Application opportunities

o Growth priorities
- Track order pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and conversion rates
- Drive closure of large, complex, and strategic opportunities

2. Key Account & Strategic Opportunity Management
- Personally manage key and strategic accounts in the territory
- Lead high-value customer engagements including:

o Technical discussions

o Commercial negotiations

o Final deal closures
- Build long-term relationships with:

o Large end users

o EPCs

o Consultants and system integrators
