Position Summary

The Sales Manager – Precious Metal Plating Solutions will be responsible for driving profitable growth of Umicore's precious metal plating portfolio across assigned territories and market segments. This role combines technical sales expertise with strategic account management to develop new business opportunities,



support customers in plating process optimization, and strengthen long-term partnerships.

The ideal candidate will possess robust knowledge of electroplating technologies, precious metal chemistries (gold, silver, palladium, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, etc.), and industrial manufacturing processes, along with a proven ability to generate revenue growth in B2B technical sales environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market-share objectives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within electronics, connectors, semiconductor, automotive, luxury goods, and industrial plating segments.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new projects and customer opportunities.
