Education: Medical

● A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule ( other than licentiate qualifications ) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

● Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super-speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.E. Doctor of Medicine or Master of Surgery or Diplomate National Board or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto

● Super Specialities (DM/M.Ch./DrNB) : On Completion of DM/MCh/ DrNB in the concerned subject

Eligibility Parameters:

● Age: Not exceeding 45 years

● Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR)



Certification - Should have completed the Basic course in Biomedical Research from Institutions designated by NMC.

● RBMET Training Certificate - Should have completed the basic course in Medical Education Technology from Institutions designated by NMC.

Eligibility criteria is subject to amendments as per NMC guidelines - “Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, (Amendment), 2023 as per National Medical Commission notification No. C-19011/06/2022/NMC/Coord in reference to notification numbered NMC/MCI-23(I)/2021-MED.
