Compensation- Max 9LPA

You will be responsible for end-to-end SMSF processing and compliance work on BGL Simple Fund 360, from transaction processing through to audit-ready financial statements and the SMSF Annual Return. You will work directly with our Australian principal and support staff, and your work will be reviewed in Australia before lodgment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process SMSF transactions in BGL Straightforward Fund 360, including setting up and maintaining bank, broker, and wrap data feeds
- Reconcile bank accounts, investment holdings, and contribution/pension transactions
- Process corporate actions, distributions (including annual tax statements from managed funds and ETFs), and property transactions
- Prepare annual financial statements, member statements, and trustee minutes/resolutions
- Prepare the SMSF Annual Return (SAR) for review and lodgment by the Australian team
- Calculate ECPI, apply actuarial certificates, and process CGT events correctly (including segregated vs proportionate method treatment)




- Monitor contribution caps (concessional, non-concessional, bring-forward) and flag potential breaches
- Prepare pension establishment, commutation, and minimum drawdown documentation
- Prepare Transfer Balance Account Report (TBAR) events for lodgment
- Prepare complete, audit-ready workpapers and respond to SMSF auditor queries promptly
- Maintain accurate fund records, permanent files, and workflow status updates
- Communicate clearly with the Australian team on queries, missing information, and job progress
- SMSF audit support (minor part of the role): assist with audit fieldwork, checklists, and evidence gathering for SMSF audit engagements — full training will be provided; prior audit experience is not required
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA/CPA/M.Com preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience processing Australian SMSFs, ideally within an outsourcing
