Job description:
Responsibilities for dental receptionist:
1. Ensure transcribed reports are appropriately forwarded and uploaded to EHR in timely fashion as necessary
2. Answering phones of administrative dental office
3. Booking patient appointments and assisting in patient follow up.
4. Processing correspondence to referring docotors and patients.
5. Cross covering other positions as needed.
6. Provide positive and courteous customer service at both the reception desk, scheduling servies, and over the phone for multiple clinic sites while maintaining a professional prescene at all times.
7. Efficiently manage daily provider schedules and assist with accomodating walk-in patients or same day appointments
8. Required to perform other job related clerical duties.
Qualification
1yr experience in medical field preferred. Handling patient records.
Experience with any EHR systems, EH note and PRACTO preferred.
Robust organizational skills.
Demostrated ability to use microsoft excel.
Previous administrative or reception work experience in health care setting strongly preferred.
