X-Ray Technician duties and responsibilities

The main responsibility of an X-Ray Technician is to ensure that imaging tests are performed safely and correctly in a hospital, imaging center, urgent care center, outpatient clinic or other facility. Some specific X-Ray Technician job duties that they may perform include:
- Interpreting the order for the test to determine what body parts need imaging
- Explaining the test to patients and positioning them to make the test possible
- Setting the controls on X-ray equipment in preparation for imaging
- Checking X-ray images and retaking them as needed to ensure clarity
- Cleaning and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep X-ray equipment operating smoothly
- Sending X-ray images to other medical providers for reading
- Inventorying and stocking films and radiologic supplies
- Updating patient records with pertinent information

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
