Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of golf course maintenance equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and ensure timely repairs.
- Regularly inspect machinery for safety, performance, and reliability.
- Service and maintain turf care machines and related equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, service, and repair records.
- Assist in installation, setup, and modification of new equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of workshop tools and machinery.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to minimize equipment downtime.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on knowledge of turf care and golf course maintenance equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to inspect, service, and maintain equipment.
- Positive documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in equipment/mechanical maintenance.
- Experience in golf course maintenance, turf care, landscaping equipment, or similar machinery will be preferred.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
