Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessment and counseling services to patients in Psychiatry OPD and indoor wards.
- Conduct detailed case history taking for the purpose of establishing differential diagnosis and final diagnosis.
- Assist the psychiatrist in clinical evaluation and treatment planning.
- Perform psychological testing and assessments as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure proper follow-up of patients and monitor treatment progress.
- Counsel patients and family members regarding psychological conditions and treatment plans.
- Follow ethical guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff for integrated patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
- RCI registration (mandatory for Clinical Psychologist).
- Relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting will be preferred.
