Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Prepare and maintain safety checklists, inspection reports, and all HSE documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, client requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor electrical safety practices, temporary electrical installations, panels, wiring, and electrical tools at site.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Verify PPE usage and ensure all workers follow safety procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare corrective and preventive action reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to implement safety measures before and during execution.
- Maintain records of permits, equipment inspections, training, and safety audits.
- Ensure availability and proper maintenance of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, emergency equipment, and safety signage.
- Assist during client safety audits and statutory inspections.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports and submit them to management.
