About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead instructional design strategy and maintain quality standards across projects.
- Review and approve instructional artifacts, including blueprints and storyboards.
- Mentor and guide instructional designers on best practices and pedagogy.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on design updates and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain instructional design guidelines and documentation.
- Ensure alignment with CTE frameworks, learning standards, and learner outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, or related fields.
- 6-10+ years of instructional design experience,
including 2+ years in a senior-level role.
- Robust experience in Career & Technical Education (CTE), vocational training, or K-12 curriculum development.
- Knowledge of the US Education System and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience with the 5E Instructional Model and Gradual Release of Responsibility framework.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CTE standards, certifications, and frameworks such as TEKS.
- Experience designing modular, objective-driven learning content.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and review capabilities.
