Position Overview:
The Educator will be responsible for facilitating age-appropriate learning, academic support, and life-skill education for children residing in the shelter home. This role ensures children’s educational development through structured sessions, remedial classes, and coordination with formal schools. The Educator plays a key role in creating a child-friendly, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Organise classroom lectures and coursework.




- Prepare teaching materials and activities.
- Identify students with special requirements and create individualised teaching plans/study modules.
- To identify dropout children and conduct counselling sessions for children and parents to motivate them to continue schooling/learning.
- Research new teaching methods best suited for diverse groups of children.
- Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a secure and progressive setting.
- Organise stationery and resources for lectures and presentations.
- Assign homework on a regular basis.
- Conduct exams/tests and prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
- Create syllabus for dropout children to fill the academic gap.
- Provide feedback based on workload and classroom behaviour.
